Avignon, France
Avignon, which is roughly about the same size as Nimes, was so cold, like, the kind of cold that chills you to the bone. After seeing Pont d’Avignon (apparently made popular by the world famous children’s song although I have never heard it) and meandering the streets, I found myself wanting to leave two hours after my arrival. Excursions to Pont du Gard and Uzes are really popular. Most tour options usually take up the better part of the day so I opted not to do that on this trip.
