Cannes, famous for the annual Cannes Film Festival, is an easy trip to make before or after visiting Antibes. Cannes was filled with more people than Antibes. At least it showed more on the beaches here than those on Antibes. I had no problem exploring this town in under two hours. The shops here are exquisite, of course. I could see how the merchandise and displays are geared towards the celebrities, although most don’t come around until the film festival. I'd love to come back for the film festival, but during the rest of the year, there's not much draw to Cannes aside from beaching out and expensive shopping.
